Why I’m no longer obsessed with being young

Oh, how we love the young. The faces flush and filled with moxie. The body that moves easily, swiftly, without acknowledgement or abandon because there is a feeling of limitlessness, of not being yet reminded of your mortality. I loved being young. I was loud, aggressive, ambitious and famished. I wanted to devour the world and everything in it.
