This is excellent insight, Peter. Thank you for sharing. You’re right — what’s important here is also context. I’m the same way in terms of using shorthand when there’s already a relationship established and we share a common language. The internet gets tricky in terms of not having context or a sense of the personality behind the comment (i.e., someone tends to be terse or direct in nature). Feedback should always give someone space to grow.
