Thank you, Vena, for sharing words and being equally vulnerable. One of my good friends is light-skinned, she has a darker skinned sister and the way they are treated is demonstrably different.

TBH, I don't think white or white-passing people have a choice. They either stand up and risk losing their status and privilege for Black people or they sit complicit on the side of the oppressors.

I will keep reading, keep listening & learning, and keep fighting for Black voices.
