With so much talk of ROI, it can breed the perception that it’s the only metric that matters, which ignores ALL the other factors that go into what makes a business successful. The time/resources you saved them drove increased productivity, for starters, and time is just as valuable an asset as the bottom line and it also indirectly impacts the bottom line.

The people who talk about ROI as the be-all are in this immediate, direct marketing mindset, can you measure the direct ROI on a logo, perception shift, brand equity and love, brand voice guide? No. A confluence of qual/quant and direct/indirect impact a business. To focus solely on ROI is myopic at best.
