It always breaks my heart to hear about children suffering from mental illness. They’re bearing so much weight (trying to suss out their identity, trying to fit in, trying to make sense of the world and their place in it), and compound that with social media and mental illness — my god, kids are warriors for surviving this world if they’re constantly being weighed down by it. I applaud you for pausing and for being a parent who is compassionate and empathetic.
