Hey Sara,

I think the smartest move would be to survey the kind of customers you want to attract. You could use a service like survey monkey, and buy respondents and cut them up by psychographics and demographics to ensure you’re targeting the kind of customer who would be into your product. You ask them all the questions I outlined in the Brand Discovery tutorial so you can get a sense of how they talk about your product, how they consider like products (you may not believe you have a competitor, but your customers might not agree). That’s a quicker way to get qual and quant insights.

You could also look at adjacent industries with a similar model to see how they’re positioning themselves.

Finally, I would scour online as I’ve managed to find data and insights for the most random industries.
