Hey Pluto--I would encourage you to look at the legal filings. The judge, on 2/3, ruled that the information Baldoni's team released wasn't prejudicial to the jury. This is a published ruling you can find online. The judge did say to both attorneys that they better not litigate this in the press (beyond defending their clients from basic claims, which is an exception to the ethics rule) or he'll move the court date up, which would be a nightmare for both parties. It seems both attorneys are going to be on their best behavior because they don't want sanctions or the trial date moved up.
I do not read any articles on the case because a lot of them are planted by both sides as this is kind of normal when you're in a high-profile case (especially on Page 6, TMZ, Deadline, Hollywood Reporter--they all have plants.)
I will only read court filings. I've read both of their filings and will likely read Lively's amended filing (in response to Baldoni's amended filing as of last week), which I think they're filing on Friday. We'll see if there's any new evidence.
I also watched a litigator commentary about all the documents and the commentator said all the filings are just PR moves on both sides. What matters is Discovery--admissible evidence, depositions, etc--since the jury relies on that to make their decision.
That's when we'll see the real evidence and determine who's at fault.
