Gold. Straight up. You wrote the article about Medium and money (it’s not about the money) that I’ve been wanting to write only you did it better. People are SO OBSESSED with making money on this platform that it shows in everything they create.

I don’t look at my stats, which feels counterintuitive as a career marketer, but everything I’ve written came from a place of wanting to add value. How do I help ten people? How do I cut through the noise of vague garbage hacks online to give specific ideas, methodologies, frameworks and case studies?

Ironically, I make more money and have been gratified by my experience here because I went into it exactly how you’ve expressed (and so eloquently) with the singular goal of adding value to my intended audience. I make $$ on this platform as a result and have built (like yourself) a thriving consulting practice.

I wish people would read YOUR piece instead of all the sea of same articles about Medium that exist. Because playing the long game strategically, focusing on delivering something tangible and real, and forging relationships is the way.

THIS IS SOLID GOLD.
